As a new student at Â鶹Porn, you might be wondering how to make friends and get involved on campus. Joining a club or student organization is one of the best ways you can put yourself out there and maximize your experience as a Wildcat.

To help you get started, we’ve rounded up a handful of the top options for first-year students.

Looking to make your voice heard and give back to the Wildcat community? Consider joining ASUA, the university’s official student government. You’ll get to influence university policies, volunteer in a number of ways, plan exciting campus events, run for leadership positions, and so much more.

If you want to give your résumé a boost, the Blue Chip Leadership Experience may be the perfect fit for you. Although it requires taking for-credit courses, it’s so much more than sitting in a classroom. Blue Chip gives you the chance to hone your leadership abilities through teamwork and collaboration, internships, and other professional experiences.

Passionate about plastic and other environmental topics? Check out Students for Sustainability, a group of students who are passionate about promoting sustainability on campus and in the community. You can also get involved withĚý, an award-winning food-scrap collection and composting program.
